FTP Instructions
If you are
using a PC or a Macintosh, with Netscape
or MSIE it will be quite easy for you to
send your file via FTP:
You may
want to print these instructions out so
that you can follow them while accessing
the ftp directory.
Click
on the ftp link from the
Reservation form or access it
from here.
You
are now in the AVS Deposit
directory and you will see a
message in your browser telling
you that you have sucessfully
connected.
Open
the directory on your hard drive
where the file you want to upload
is located. Simply hold your
mouse down over the file icon and
drag the file from your hard
drive into the Netscape/MSIE
browser window (you will need to
have both your browser window and
hard drive window on the screen
simultaneously).
You
will be asked if you are sure you
want to FTP the file into the
/avsdep directory. Click OK.
Done!
Note that for
security reasons you will not see the
file you deposited in the directory.
If after receiving your reservation
information we can not retrieve the
file from the FTP directory we will
contact you and ask you to re-deposit
it.
